Apple Unveils Major Siri AI Overhaul and New Features at Annual Conference

Apple has officially unveiled a significant artificial intelligence overhaul for its virtual assistant, now rebranded as "Siri AI," at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 8, 2026. This extensive update, powered by Apple Intelligence, aims to make Siri profoundly more capable and conversational, with deep integration across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, visionOS 27, and watchOS. The redesigned assistant can now maintain multi-turn conversations, understand personal context from user data like messages and photos, and access real-time web knowledge.

The new Siri AI features a revamped interface, appearing from the Dynamic Island on iPhones, and offers a more expressive voice with customizable settings. Users can also access a dedicated Siri app to review past interactions, and the assistant gains enhanced Visual Intelligence capabilities.
