Christopher Nolan's latest epic, 'The Odyssey,' has premiered to a colossal $264.1 million global box office, marking the director's most successful worldwide opening to date. The film, which features Matt Damon as Odysseus and Anne Hathaway as Penelope, opened on July 17, 2026, and achieved $124.5 million domestically and $139.6 million internationally. This impressive debut makes it the biggest live-action film opening of 2026 and the third-highest domestic opening overall, trailing only "Toy Story 5" and "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie".
