Multiple fatal plane crashes reported in France and Saudi Arabia

Tragic air incidents have claimed multiple lives in separate crashes reported today, June 28, 2026, in France and Saudi Arabia. In northeastern France, a skydiving plane carrying 11 people crashed in Tomblaine near the Nancy-Essey airfield. All occupants, including the pilot, five students, and five instructors, perished after the aircraft reportedly experienced a malfunction shortly after takeoff and fell vertically.

Meanwhile, in Saudi Arabia, a helicopter belonging to the state oil giant Saudi Aramco went down in Ras Tanura. This accident resulted in the deaths of all 14 individuals on board, all of whom were Saudi nationals.
