Gisèle Pelicot meets UK survivors of partner rape while sedated in emotional encounter

Gisèle Pelicot, the French woman whose husband drugged and enabled dozens of men to rape her over nearly a decade, recently held an emotional meeting with UK survivors who endured similar horrific abuse. Pelicot's courageous decision to waive her anonymity during her husband's 2024 trial transformed her into a global icon, inspiring countless victims of chemical submission to come forward and seek justice.

Among those she met were Zoe Watts and Amanda Stanhope, both of whom were sexually assaulted by their partners while sedated.
