Israel and Lebanon sign framework agreement, but tensions and attacks continue

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz affirmed that Israeli troops would maintain their presence in a security buffer zone within southern Lebanon, emphasizing that a full withdrawal is contingent upon the complete disarmament of Hezbollah across the entire country.
