Manhunt underway in South Africa after 12 killed in late-night mass shooting in Johannesburg

A mass shooting at an informal settlement in Johannesburg has resulted in the deaths of twelve people and injuries to nine others. The incident occurred late Tuesday night at the Jumpers informal settlement in Cleveland, east of the city, where multiple heavily armed suspects reportedly opened fire on residents from various locations before fleeing the scene in a white Toyota Quantum.

Police have launched a extensive manhunt for over ten individuals believed to be responsible for the attack. Eight men and three women were pronounced dead at the scene, with another man succumbing to his injuries later in hospital.
