The U.S. Secret Service is currently investigating a video broadcast by Iranian state media that reportedly threatened the life of Barron Trump, son of President Donald Trump. The three-minute segment, aired by Iranian state television, detailed alleged efforts to track Barron Trump's movements, including his university, escort vehicles, and Secret Service detail, and even claimed to have identified his online accounts. Some reports also indicated the video mentioned a $10 million reward for targeting him.

A Secret Service spokesperson confirmed awareness of the video, stating the agency investigates all content perceived as a threat to its protectees. However, they declined to discuss specific security measures or threat assessments due to operational security concerns. While Iran International noted it could not independently verify the operational claims made in the dramatized broadcast, the decision to air such content on state television is considered significant.

This incident follows a pattern of heightened rhetoric and alleged threats from Iranian state-linked media and officials against President Trump and other U.S. figures, which have intensified after recent conflicts. A similar video targeting First Lady Melania Trump was broadcast in July, outlining her movements and alleged security vulnerabilities.
