US Envoys in Qatar for Iran Talks, But Direct Meeting Unlikely This Week

Tehran clarified that its delegation is in Qatar to discuss the practical implementation of existing agreements, including the release of frozen assets, through indirect diplomatic channels.

Qatari authorities have corroborated the presence of US envoys in Doha but confirmed that direct discussions with the Iranian delegation are not on the agenda for the current round of talks.
