US streamers Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur denied entry to UK over criticism of Israel

American political commentators and streamers Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur have recently been denied entry to the United Kingdom, with the UK Home Office stating their presence "may not be conducive to the public good." Both individuals had their Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETAs) canceled, preventing them from attending scheduled events, including SXSW London and speaking engagements at Oxford.

Piker and Uygur have publicly asserted that the entry ban stems from their vocal criticism of Israel. This decision followed prior calls from British Jewish groups for Piker to be barred from entering the country due to concerns over his past remarks and perceived anti-Israel rhetoric.
