USA overcome Bosnia and Herzegovina to reach last 16; England battle back to beat DR Congo

The World Cup continues to deliver exciting football as the United States and England secured their places in the last 16. The USA advanced by defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-0. Folarin Balogun opened the scoring just before halftime, but was later sent off, leaving the USA to play with ten men. Malik Tillman then sealed the victory with a free kick in the 82nd minute.

Meanwhile, England battled back from an early deficit to overcome DR Congo with a 2-1 victory. Brian Cipenga gave DR Congo a shock lead in the seventh minute. However, captain Harry Kane emerged as the hero for England, scoring an equalizer in the 75th minute and then netting the dramatic winning goal four minutes from full-time. Both teams now look ahead to their respective round of 16 fixtures.
